O-1A Extraordinary Ability

The O-1A, where AI meets Big Law.

An AI researcher builds the system that reads your record. An ex-Kirkland attorney signs the filing. Approved, or your money back. No questions asked.

The AI half

A system that reads your whole record

All eight regulatory criteria scored against what you have, with the evidence shown for each and the standard it is measured against. The petition assembles as you upload. The brief drafts with the exhibit numbers already in it. Built by an AI researcher, not bought from a vendor.

The Big Law half

An attorney who trained where the rigor is

Columbia Law, then mergers and acquisitions at Kirkland and Ellis in New York, then in-house at a startup filing O-1 petitions for founders and employees. Every line is read by her before it goes out, and she answers your questions herself.

Work visas and permanent residence for founders and the people they hire.

O-1A, extraordinary ability

The one we have built the deepest. A free assessment reads all eight regulatory criteria against your record, and the petition assembles in front of you as the evidence arrives.

The rest of a case, not just the filing

Change of status against consular processing, requests for evidence, extensions, and what happens when a decision does not go your way. These are the stages most firms stop talking about once the petition is in.

Your team, not only you

The same work for the people you hire. Counsel here has filed O-1 petitions for employees as well as founders.

Why this exists

I paid $3,000 to be told maybe.

I went to ten or fifteen immigration firms. Most charge $250 to $350 just to tell you whether you have a case. I spent about three thousand dollars, and a lot of evenings, collecting opinions.

Then two well known visa agencies, and eventually one of the best regarded immigration firms in the country.

Small questions took days to come back. That is the part nobody warns you about. There is an asymmetry of anxiety. Your status is your life, your job, whether you can visit your family. For them it is volume, and most of the people working on it have never been through it themselves.

When the petition came back, I found mistakes in it. So I built an AI agent to check it. That agent is this company.

So every one of those became a product decision.

What you actually see

Every sentence carries its evidence.

A petition is an argument built out of documents. So the draft and the documents sit side by side, and every claim is one tap from the exhibit that supports it, highlighted at the line. Try it.

Petition draft

The beneficiary has made original contributions of major significance to the field of computer science. He designed and shipped a distributed inference system now serving production traffic at scale, work that was independently covered in national legal and technology press. His research on low-latency retrieval was accepted at a peer-reviewed venue and has been cited by researchers outside his own institution.

The assessment

Scored against all eight criteria.

O-1A asks you to satisfy at least three of the eight. The assessment reads your resume, searches the public record for you, and tells you which three you already have, which are close, and what is missing.

Sit down with us

Talk to Jiyun and Monica directly about which criteria to build the case around, and what to go collect before anything is filed. If the answer is wait, we will tell you to wait.

04

Watch it get built

The petition assembles as you upload, exhibit by exhibit, with the forms filled from your answers and counsel reviewing every line before it goes out.

Who you work with

Two people you can actually ask.

Not a ticket queue and not a paralegal reading from a script. You get both of them directly: the founder who has already been the client on an O-1A, and the lawyer. Ask either one anything, including the small procedural questions nobody writes down.
