Free assessment

Tell us about your record.

Two minutes if you just paste your LinkedIn. You will get a read on all eight O-1A criteria, the evidence that supports each one, and an honest note on what is missing. The optional questions below make the read sharper.

This is the only thing we need. Everything below makes the assessment sharper, and you can skip all of it.

Your scorecard opens on the next screen either way. Leave your email if you want the link sent to you as well.

We take it from your profile if you leave this blank.

O-1A is judged relative to others in your field, so this shapes the whole assessment.

Have you been backed by a VC?required

Funding from a named investor is evidence for the critical role and original contribution criteria, so it moves the score.

Your status today decides whether the O-1 is filed as a change of status or through a consulate, and how the timing works around OPT or an H-1B.

Six questions a search engine cannot answer

Most of what wins an O-1A is private: appointment letters, admission decisions, contracts, pay records. None of it is on the web, so if you skip these we will score you on what a stranger could find, which is not your record. Every one is optional and a rough answer beats none.

Accelerators, incubators, fellowships, residencies, societies, invitation-only groups. For each: how many applied, how many got in, and who made the decision.

Reviewing papers or grant applications, sitting on a jury, an admissions panel, a hackathon or pitch competition. Tell us who asked and whether you finished.

Any language. The outlet, the date, the author, and a link or a copy.

Journals, conference papers, industry or trade publications, preprints. Titles and venues are enough.

Base, bonus, and equity. A range is fine. If you pay yourself a founder's salary, tell us what your stake is worth and what the company has raised.

Funding rounds and named investors, signed customers, pilots, grants, prizes, contracts.

Everything below the first two fields is optional. Free, no account, and submitting does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Why the resume matters
It is optional, but it is the single highest-signal thing you can give us. Without it the assessment leans entirely on the public record, which is thinner for most people than their actual record.
What we do with LinkedIn
We do not scrape it. The URL tells us who you are, and from there we search for the press, publications, and awards that USCIS actually weighs. Nobody was ever approved because of a job title.
